Krdshrk 3,872 Posted March 3, 2016 Honestly - not a fan of the cerakote (For me, with guns, black is beautiful), but to each their own. Glad you like it.

israeliagent613 5 Posted March 4, 2016 I wouldn't write gods full name like that, but I'm sensitive to things like that. I'm orthodox and understand your point. But if you write the whole line it's not a problem.

High Exposure 5,635 Posted March 5, 2016 I feel like you missed my concern but whatever makes you happy and works for you. Yup... Im not sure he painted the actual dots.. but maybe just the outside of them.. (?) The dots don't matter. They are a reference point, they are not for aiming. It's the edges of the sights that need to be precise.

Schrödinger's cat 87 Posted March 6, 2016 HE is trying to say that the sight needs to have a stark and sharp edge for you to be able to quickly and clearly identify where your shot will go. If the edge isn't black, or worse, if it's multi color camo, you won't be able to make out the edge clearly and it will take you longer to get on target. Of course this is your gun and what you like is the only important thing. But when you see that what HE is saying is true, it should be relatively easy to fix with some tape and black nail polish. Catch22LR 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Yup... The dots don't matter. They are a reference point, they are not for aiming. It's the edges of the sights that need to be precise. I'll have to try this - I'm pretty sure that apart from when using plain black sights, I shoot using only the dots or other markings to aim.
israeliagent613 5 Posted March 6, 2016 The edge of the sight is super white and no Camo. Its no difference then having a all black sights. maybe form the picture it looks hard to see but shooting it on target seems spot on.
