Lets see some FF handguards on 14.5" bbl with pinned/welded brakes

Looking for FF hand guard ideas for a future 14.5" with pinned/welded muzzle brake to make it over 16".

 

I'm looking to go light weight, and want as close to mb as possible.

Troy Alpha - good choice if you have a standard barrel nut and a pinned muzzle break:

 

13" tube on a 14.5" barrel (break pinned to make 16"):

My new favorite rail for a new build where you are install the barrel nut before pinning the muzzle device. I am really digging the MLOK direct attachment options as well. It is a very lightweight rail, that is slim, easy to install, and very affordable (~$145)

I'm using this rail for my first ground up build. The barrel nut seems stupid simple to install for a first timer. Any tips? What attachments are you using? It seems there isn't a huge market yet but every big company is rolling stuff out slowly

Follow the directions and you'll be fine. Be careful not to take the colored sharpie off the shims.

 

I'm using the Magpul MLOK handstop and sling mount with an Arisaka light mount. I am very pleased.

How did you pin this stock? Feels solid? I was thinking of getting one myself. They say it's a very tight fit?
