George Zimmerman's gun up on gun broker

Recommended Posts

LOL, Zman still "identifies" as Hispanic. Does Bruce Jenner "Identify" as a woman? No, of course not, he is a woman.

Is anybody thinking we need to do what these people did during the 20th Century and put an end to this crap? At least in the US, we are the ones with the fight and all manner of terrible iron.

They're probably losing more money from all the traffic overwhelming the servers than they stand to gain from the listing fees of that auction. I'd call it good business sense before I call it a political statement.

God forbid your auction generates more interest then the site can handle.... Honestly, that's BS. I had no issue getting on the site and navigating. The site was not slow or anything.

SPECIAL Statement regarding the Ziimmerman listing

  5/12/2016 2:41:31 PM EST

Late last night, George Zimmerman created a listing on our web site for the gun from the Trayvon Martin case four years ago. Mr. Zimmerman alerted news organizations that began reporting on the listing first thing this morning. Listings on theGunBroker.com web site are user-generated, exactly like social media posts. Mr. Zimmerman never contacted anyone atGunBroker.com prior to or after the listing was created and no one at GunBroker.com has any relationship with Zimmerman. Our site rules state that we reserve the right to reject listings at our sole discretion, and have done so with the Zimmerman listing. We want no part in the listing on our web site or in any of the publicity it is receiving. GunBroker.com prides itself in being a safe and legal way to buy and sell firearms online in full compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws.GunBroker.com proudly supports the Second Amendment rights of the American public. GunBroker.com will not be fielding press inquiries regarding this matter.

Not sure why they wouldn't want it...  It's great publicity...

Now they have the publicity without the notoriety.   They get their cake and eat it too.

What a bullshit statement if i have ever seen one...

NO ONE contacts gunbroker directly when listing an item... why would he?

He is doing it legally, so not sure why they bothered to mention that....

not sure how to feel about this... it may be in poor taste, but that depends on who you are.
