Please try and bring everything you can in terms of a gun, ammo, and clays.

A rough check list of what to bring:
- Gun(s)
- Ammo (birdshot #7.5, 8)
- Clays
- Thrower if you have one
- Eyes and ears
- Shell pouch
- Beverages/snacks (STAY HYDRATED IN THE HEAT!)
- Dress appropriately and bring Sunblock!
- Chair

If you can't bring some things, we will have plenty of stuff there. If you've never shot a shotgun before, we will try working with you to be able to dust a clay by the end of the day!

 

I should have my camera as well for some cool pictures.

Gun rules to remember:

Always treat a gun as if it was loaded
Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot
Never point the muzzle at anything you're not willing to destroy
Always be aware of you're target/line of fire
For this range, keep all guns unloaded until you're on the firing line

Be smart, be safe, and we will have a fun-filled day!

Hey folks. I'd love to attend; never shot at clay before, just wondering if membership is a must? Or if there are any dues, fees or the likes that need to be paid?
It'd be a great chance to get some advice from some of you guys, as well, rather than me try and teach myself through trial and error. I only have a crappy Mossberg Maverick but have been on the lookout for a nice 12G for a little while now.. maybe ill get lucky and find something by then.. Plenty of target shot and can pick up clays, so thats no issue.

Lambo you're more than welcome to join us.  If you have 12ga ammo (Birdshot - target loads), feel free to bring it.  If you can stop by Dick's or Walmart and pick up a box or 2 of clays as well it would be appreciated.

 

Don't need a membership or anything - there are several of us who have valid hunting licenses and throwers.  That's all that is needed to shoot at a WMA.

 

Practice first with your Maverick, but you can also use some of our guns.

Never shot clays before, and only shot a shotgun once, while taking an intro class. Wife never used a shotgun before. I have a Mossberg 590 (never used), and will buy ammo and clays.

If I go to the Alchemist I will get you some. I may do the VT brewery tour this year. They take you in a van to all the brewery's. Pretty sure they're in Watertown. But I think there are a few places in Burlington that sell it too. I'll keep an eye out.

nice price....the Del store had a ton at $54 when I was there (this morning)
