shizzoizzo7 6 Posted August 1, 2016 I'm trying to gauge if there is a time of year that is better to list firearms for sale, is it around the holidays? A friend is telling me to wait until after the election and see if there's any type of demand but was curious if anyone else had any feedback on when to sell. Thanks
DirtyDigz 1,811 Posted August 1, 2016 Shortly after election night if a democrat is elected. -also- mid April to mid-May, after tax return refunds are deposited.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted August 1, 2016 Or right after a tragic mass-shooting that triggers a panic buy. Sad but true... I sold an AR to a Forum Member here just before Newtown... after that I could have gotten double the price. I don't regret it at all but still... shizzoizzo7 6 Posted August 1, 2016 Good points thus far, thank you. Nothing too crazy Glock 23, Sig 2022, S&W 22a, Beretta Px4, Ruger sr1911 etc (I do have 2 revolvers but was hoping to keep them til last) Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
shizzoizzo7 6 Posted August 1, 2016 1976 Bicentennial Ruger Single Six (22/22 magnum) and a Cimarron Cavalry 7.5" 45LC. Nothing with real rarity, I just have more of an attachment to them haha
