MP5 or variants?

Recommended Posts

Yeah theres something like two .22's available, and any of the real HG caliber clones are stupid expensive. I looked into it a while back and there were one or two brands that make nj legal ones, but they are pretty damn expensive.

Umarex makes a H&K licensed .22LR MP5-a-like as well.

I have a GSG5, enjoy it. While I wouldn't call it a "pain in the ass", it does need more disassembly than many rifles to get at the bolt/chamber.

They get dirty quick with bulk ammo. Had a lot of FTF and FTE's unless I was running CCI. When it worked it was a really fun gun. But I have just as much fun with the 15/22 I replaced it with.

Thats actually not a bad idea

It's a great idea. Wilson combat makes a glock version and stag makes one with colt mags. There are a number of choices now.

I paid 2100 for my HK MP5K. It ain't cheap but it's cool.

The Umarex MP5 is illegal here because it says MP5 on the receiver. I already tried to get one.

Out of curiosity, what if you were to grind the MP5 off of the receiver and cerakote it in free usa? It still wouldnt be legal as it is still an MP5, right?

Defacing identifying markings on a firearm is illegal. The ATF doesn't like that.
