I have a personal rifle built with an Odin 3 Gun barrel and their extended mag release. Unless I'm doing something where OAL is an issue like in a shoothouse, this is my go-to rifle for basically everything. I've shot and killed varmints from 10 yards to 400 yards with it. I've shot sub-MOA steel as far as 700 yards in high winds (30mph sustained, 40mph gusts) with it. I absolutely believe Odin is making some of the best barrels on the market today and they are priced very competitively.

The good news is that with the Grendel there is much less gain from adding the length from 16" to 20" your velocity will be close, accuracy will be excellent, and if you hunt the rifle will be much easier to manage and carry. There is a guy on the Grendel forum that regularly shoots his 16" beyond 1200 yards.
