Old Glock guy 1,125 Posted December 19, 2016 Rullo is a strong proponent of Second Amendment rights and wants law-abiding New Jersey residents to be able to carry concealed firearms. On illegal immigration, Rullo supports the hard-line position Trump took during the presidential campaign. http://www.app.com/story/news/politics/new-jersey/2016/12/17/inspired-trump-ocean-county-republican-runs-governor/95316802/ Well, that certainly played well nationally. I'm sure we would all love to see the same here in NJ, but as the electoral vote showed, it's an entirely different political climate in this godforsaken state. Kevin125 4,772 Posted December 29, 2016 http://rullo2017.com/gunpledge/ Excellent. Would love it to have two more objectives. -To eliminate NJ NICS and use Fed NICS system. Waste of tax payer money and hurts small NJ businesses. -To eliminate One Gun a Month for handguns..... It simply makes no sense other than to restrict our 2a rights.
JackDaWack 2,894 Posted December 29, 2016 First things first, can a Republican even win? NJ was one of the most heavy hillary leaning states, we are just finishing out 2 terms of a very unpopular Rep gov and the state demographics are growing in favor of the dem/socialist/progressive mindset as partially evidenced by my longtime congresman Garret getting the demorat boot. I"ll keep an open mind given the Trump victory but imo NJ will never see a R gov again and will be just as unlikely to see either of our legislative houses swing to the R party. Garret sucked and wasn't poised to win. The dude belongs in the Bible belt. As a conservative some of the statements and positions he took even I thought were misplaced for a place like NJ. I don't even like Garret, and he did very little for NJ Republicans. His democratic opponent didn't have to work very hard when Garret was an actual bigot. Cant argue, will just say that when it comes to hard leaning politicians I'm more tolerant of the right than left. Garret did let the times get past him but this day and age it seems we dont get to vote often for someone we like, rather we are voting against someone or an agenda they represent. And now there is another D in D.C.and NJ gets another district officially painted blue. That was the gist of what I was saying, NJ is getting more blue with every election. matty 810 Posted January 22, 2017 Rullo is a Trump supporter, so Liberal Gun Owners like a few on here will not support him. Liberals will happily vote for Murphy all day long to signal their Liberal cuck friends that they are cucked also

Because you don't like the Republican candidate's religious beliefs you don't vote for him or even worse vote Dem? matty 810 Posted January 22, 2017 So when Murphy gets in you will register all your guns, and turn in any magazines over 10 rounds, submit to home inspections for FPID, Turn in your FPID and wait for a new one with a picture on it, never buy ammo from anywhere but NJ, be rationed to 50 rds/mo, take a week long class just to handle a firearm, not be able to try new shooting sports? These and more are all things that were proposed and/or passed in the NJ legislature since 2013. Murphy has said he WILL sign all these things that Christie vetoed. Liberals ARE on the warpath to PUNISH those in states they control that do not think like them. See California, where last year, new laws making life harder for lawful gun owners were passed AND THEN, MORE laws punishing lawful gun owners further were passed by ballot initiative. If you don't get that Sweeney, Weinberg, Greenwald, Greenstein, Wisniewski, Gill, et. al PERSONALLY HATE LAWFUL GUN OWNERS IN NJ, there is no hope at all for you. I remind you of what was proposed a few years ago: http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2013/03/new-jersey-legislators-introduce-76-anti-gun-bills/ It has only got worse since. I am moving out hopefully before the worst of it happens. So when he doesn't get the Republican nomination I guess you'll blame the liberals for that to, eh? capt14k 2,051 Posted January 22, 2017 would you vote for a Muslim republican canidate? If they were strong 2A absolutely for any position other than POTUS Excuse me for not paying enough attention to this liberal hell hole of a State, but you people in extreme Northern NJ let a Democrat take Scott Garrett's seat? This state is pathetic. Vote for whoever you want it seems a lot of you want to be losers. Then when the Dem wins you can all comply and come on here and whine like little girls about the gun laws in NJ. Scott Garrett was too conservative for NJ, I would think that was a joke coming from a firearms owner almost anywhere, but this state.
