W2MC 1,699 Posted December 31, 2016 Thought I saw a fleeting mention of some sort of gun law forum upcoming in Berlin NJ. Anyone know anything about it?
Smokin .50 1,907 Posted December 31, 2016 We know nothing about any program in Berlin. There's a NJ2AS function next Saturday in Brick. Could that be what you saw?
W2MC 1,699 Posted December 31, 2016 I am sure it said Berlin...actually I think it was West Berlin, NJ. I saw it on Facebook as one of those ad/update things, and was kinda surprised by it - I am usually aware of conferences like these, such as the one you mention in Brick, but haven't heard of anything going on down here in South Jersey. I haven't seen the Facebook ad since, so I wonder what is going on.... I guess I'll have to keep my eye out and see. W2MC
matty 810 Posted January 1, 2017 Berlin is pretty Liberal I believe, so it probably wont be 2A friendly
Double Cheese 8 Posted January 3, 2017 W2MC, This just popped up on my Facebook feed: http://www.gunlawseminar.com/calendar/?facid=0013100001mVwL7 This might be the ad you were talking about. I know nothing about the organization or their knowledge of NJ gun laws.

Evan Nappen has been a key person for them here in Jersey and has been doing many of these seminars himself. If you haven't caught a presentation by him, it is well worth it. (I don't know if he is doing this one).
JohnnyB 4,289 Posted January 5, 2017 According to J&J Gunworks Facebook page it is Evan Nappen doing the presentation. QUOTE "We are happy to co sponsor this event. Come out and meet the man himself Evan Nappen. Get the right information, get protected" https://www.facebook.com/JJ-Gunworks-264824410347186/

W2MC 1,699 Posted January 6, 2017 I am passing, as everything I find online about US Law Shield/US Gun Shield screams "multi-level marketing", i.e. pyramid scam!
accline 8 Posted January 7, 2017 I went to their event in Toms River on 21 Dec. It was a sales pitch for the US Law Shield services. It was pretty easy to ignore. Mr Nappen did give a good presentation that was worth the $10 entry fee. He was also selling his book for those interested.
