Remington 870 Special Purpose But that's the thing... that gun doesn't meet his requirements, due to the ejector not being replaceable by the shooter. There isn't a shotgun design that meets the requirements (that I at least know of), so the OP needs to see what points are important to him, and which option is the best fit. It stinks to say, but that is something he needs to do the research and decide for himself. I made my decision years ago... and still have the 870 sitting next to the bed.
