Twospot 38 Posted January 21, 2017 I was wondering if anyone buys carry guns even though they can't carry. I work in PA and would have been able to carry but the non-resident carry permits are no longer reciprocal. If you do buy carry guns but can't actually carry, why buy them? I've thought about getting a G43 but I can't carry. I guess my thinking is that a day will come when we are allowed to carry in NJ. When it does there will be a mad rush to buy. So if I already have one I won't need to worry about fighting the crowds and inventory LOL.
Gunnz 49 Posted January 21, 2017 Get a NH permit, valid for PA
DirtyDigz 1,793 Posted January 21, 2017 Yes, because I'm expecting to move to a carry state eventually, and maybe, just maybe, the national carry reciprocity bill becomes law and NJ is dragged kicking and screaming into allowing carry for out-of-state permits. Twospot 38 Posted January 21, 2017 Get a NH permit, valid for PANo sh*t? I thought something went through a few years ago that PA will only accept if you live in the state in which the permit was issued. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Gunnz 49 Posted January 21, 2017 I'm no expert but believe the NH non resident permit is good. There are a few threads on here about it. No sh*t? I thought something went through a few years ago that PA will only accept if you live in the state in which the permit was issued. PD2K 115 Posted January 21, 2017 Would love to own a CCW pistol, but since I live in NJ it's not with the purchase IMHO. Maybe Trump can make it happen

This, as well as being able to carry inside my residence in NJ. I also could carry at my business location if I were the owner.

Old Glock guy 1,125 Posted January 21, 2017 I almost always carry when I'm out of state, so yes, I have a couple of carry guns. As noted above, get your NH CCW permit so you can carry in PA, and get a FL and/or UT permit to allow you to carry in 30+ other states.

ChrisJM981 924 Posted January 21, 2017 I bought a carry gun to shoot IDPA, and to carry when in PA. If I were to carry in NJ, I wouldn't announce it, as I'm not a LEO.
