Golf battery 1,223 Posted February 4, 2017 Yeah if your working around these types of machines safety first. No rushing or fooling around. This aint the first. Or last time a chipper has killed someone. If your not able. Dont rent one.

302w 83 Posted February 5, 2017 Per the comments it malfunctioned and something shot out and hit him. Getting suckered into machinery scares the hell out of me. Every time I see a serpentine belt I imagine getting my hand in it.
liquidskin 3 Posted February 6, 2017 I shit you not, I spoke to this gent on Craigslist on Wednesday about firewood. Couldn't believe it when I saw the name. Was professional and courteous. RIP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Every time I see a serpentine belt I imagine getting my hand in it. Knew a guy got his hand sucked into a 3 headed shaper. Made a nice v notch in my right index finger with a table saw. Used one these chipper 20 yrs ago to clear a lot. One of the blade fractured of the flywheel. Stay inside the cage. Picture 4 5-10# axe heads double bolted to some heavy Ass steel wheel. Tragic accident. Whenever things are bad I jus think how possibly short life can be.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted February 7, 2017 That's brutal. Very sad and can't imagine what the scene was like if there were other co-workers there with him.
Bt Doctur 188 Posted February 7, 2017 Can only imagine something like that, I do have the results of a airline tech going thru a jet engine. Same ending. Got to respect machinery
