Baba Yaga (John Wick)

Recommended Posts

If you havent seen Baba Yaga, see it. Then run and see Baba Yaga 2.

Fantastic gun play. Some name dropping and a big FU to the Anti-2As. If u see it you will spot the moment. I wont spoil it.

Oh! He'll yeah. John Wick was a pleasant surprise. I saw JW2 opening night with about a dozen guys from the team.

Excellent flick!

Reeves trained hard with Jessica Hook, Tori Nanoka, and Taran Butler. Awesome stuff.

Never heard it called Baba Yaga... I know they referred to him as Baba Yaga in the flicks a few times.

I was avoiding it, but if you say so, I'll check it out.

Saw 1 on DVD....it was excellent.

Saw 2 in theater. It was worth going despite my hatred for Hollyweird.

I think 2 was as good, or possibly even a little better than 1.

Looking forward to 3

Edit: nevermind... realized you saw both.

How do these idiots (not you guys the film makers) go from "Baba Yaga" (baba = woman) to "BoogeyMAN"

The gun play in both movies is awesome, the Russian is horrible.  In 2017, there are enough Russian speaking people in the US, come on.

This is like going to a strip club and complaining that the food is bad.

In the first one his slide never locks back on his empty mags. For as realistic they make the gun fights in that movie I wonder why they did that.

Go ahead a watch it in slow mo. And it's not necessarily tactical reloads. There were times he went click and saw nothing happens so he reloads.

I'm not crazy enough to have counted the rounds fired

Either way, a baba anything can't be a man anything.

Unless this is a whole transgender brain washing thing lol

Baba is used in a variety of languages from entirely different cultures to refer to man. Arabic, Indian, Asian, etc. Here are examples specific to the subject.

Unfortunately they fell short on Hindi, because Baba is more commonly used for the Sack Man and they did not mention that.

Let us not forget also Ali Baba.
