Here's a timelapse of the snow accumulation.  Not quite as spectacular as I had hoped....the area where the yardstick is at seems to get scoured free of snow a bit.  Ah well, it was an experiment.

Between 15" to 18", heavy with a bunch of sleet mixed in.  Prefer all snow; easier to move; but what can you do.  Time for two fingers of Old Overholt, a shower, dinner and relax (more like pass out)  Hope everyone is safe and warm.  Spring begins next week, so we are near the end.

We ended up with 8.5" in northern Morris county.   But it was heavy snow--enough moisture that there could have been a lot more accumulation had the air been colder.  Spent the better part of three hours clearing the driveway (twice) and cars.   Ready now to dig into the beef stew that's been in the crockpot all day.

3 hours of snow blowing, half hour of toro power brooming the deck, some random shoveling, an hour in the truck pushing back the piles and I'm done.  Back is hurting.   A couple Scotch and I'd be asleep in 10 minutes.

2 Hours shoveling out.  We had about 9" of snow from what it looks like.  Unfortunately the sleet/freezing rain made the top layer ice over and made it a huge pain to shovel.

Don't ask for pics, I'm to tired and sore to think about it. Just look to the east you'll see what I mean.

Couldn't open the front door, had to go out the rear slider and jump off the deck. This lovely pile was at the bottom of my front stairs. Took about an hour to find the actual stairs. Fun times...
