CZ Bren 805 Rifle

Anyone have one? What do you like or dislike about it?

I took a look at one that was on the rack a few weeks ago after seeing a couple of YouTube reviews.

 

It's definitely got one of the smoothest actions that I've seen but that wasn't enough to get me to drop nearly $2k on it (they seem to hover right around MSRP everywhere I looked)

 

It's a nice, very well built, alternative to an AR if you don't mind giving up a bolt release and gaining a reciprocating charging handle

we have had them. seems very top and front heavy but nice rifle overall

The weight is what stops me in my tracks. Its just to heavy for a 5.56. Now if they had a 308 kit available for it, then done deal. But I have not been able to find even an inclining of an intention of releasing the 308 conversions.

^what he said.  If they make it in 308 I'm in, would give the SCAR a run for its money.  In 556 I would take the SCAR 16 over the BREN.
