Lol, yeah, life moves fast sometimes.

 

March 17th I went to the ranch, returned March 22. Saw a huge bobcat and missed a shot at a coyote.

 

March 23rd, I woke up to the left side of my face swollen like a balloon.

Staph infection in my sinus cavity. Been there, done that.

Spent last Thursday to Monday in the hospital getting IV antibiotics.

 

Wednesday I drove to Fredrick Md on a business trip. Took a customer and a colleague out to the Kilt.

Still here.

Ranch was awesome. Hospital sucked, except for pretty nurses. Wife came up and hung out with me for most of the weekend. Nice to have quality time with her, even if it was in a hospital watching bad TV .

Zeke seems an unusually affable fellow... so I sort of hate to pile on... but yes, I think the sense of disappointment here is shared. I mean, he opens this thread,  which hints at all kinds of debauchery to follow. I'm sure the guys were looking forward to vicarious thrills. I know I was certainly expecting to experience some mixture of disgust and laughter. We were all braced for SOMETHING BIG, dammit... some shock and awe. Instead, we got some meandering musings on junk food, an admission by day 4 or 5 that he had forgotten how to be a bachelor... and oh yeah, then he opens up a tasteless thread in the 1A lounge on (of all things!) poopin' corn. I call that a failure to launch. Dammit, he should have just used his imagination and made up some shit to live up to crowd expectations. Jus sayen.

To be fair, no one should ever be stupid enough to post all the REAL details of their misdeeds life on a publicly-searchable place.  It's pretty easy to mislead.

Sounds a lot better than when the wifey reading about those 5 trips to the strip joint, the 6 cases of beer and 3 or 4 full bottles of whiskey, 5 pounds of bacon for breakfast, and half dozen pizzas and 37 cheeseburgers for lunch and dinner, and needing an emergency cleaning service for all the damage to the living room rug from the motorcycle.

Around weds evening when Mipa disappeared from here. Himself and our Mutal friend Gary Foster arrived at my domicile. In tow where three, um, midget " adult entertainers "

Well actually one was I guess a dwarf. 4' ish. Normal proportions. No sausage fingers or pronounced supraorbital torus.

Now obviously I didn't want a serious mess and who can predict Mipa after he invibes, so they graciously agreed to move the party to my camper.( yes smitty that camper. )After 4 days of a seriously intense game of Leaky boat, I had to bail.

Mipa is still in camper, has food and water, he'll be fine.
