What do you do for a living?

Old school mechanical engineer, no degree. 

forklift batteries, plastic barrels, hydraulic seals, Robots, industrial magnets, commercial kitchen equipment, scientific & medical products- done them all.

 

Currently Buyer & manufacturing engineer in a big fabrication shop.

I saw it. Used to work at Bendix/allied signal. My desk over looked the north end of the runway. Boy did it make one hell of a noise.

There used to be a electrical parts shop in that area, we got trapped in the traffic.

Previously a Mech Engr for an MEP firm.

Currently a Construction Project Manager for various energy efficiency based projects.

It's a very thankful job.

Verify in field? My favorite of you guys is stairways. Never ever a spec for the opening for headroom.

Love me some V.I.F.  Sometimes I put it on the drawing just to mess with contractors.  

 

Headroom is easy, Section 1011.3; 80"  What spec do you need? lol
