MidwestPX 172 Posted April 12, 2017 Lately I've been doing the opposite and divesting myself of personally owned Glocks. I'm down to five (17, 19, 20, 21, 26). At my peak, I had 3x G19, 2x G17, G20, G21, G26, G29. Once I started focusing more on shooting rather than collecting, I looked at them as guns that weren't being shot and I could sell to fund other gun stuff which is exactly what I did. tattooo 220 Posted April 13, 2017 Yes there is. It is called "Walther". Very true....didn't even think of that. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
High Exposure 5,662 Posted April 13, 2017 That makes sense. But I do remember us talking and you saying that you did not like your duty gun. I may have said I prefer the G35, but I have no issues with my duty gun. Hell, it was my decision to go to this pistol after making the Dept get rid of the 3rd Gen S&W 4013.

Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted April 13, 2017 I saw this in the FB comments of a Glock post yesterday to some guy coming in talking about the almighty 1911 - I have one, and still thought this was hilarious

sroc112 24 Posted April 16, 2017 I know that wear and tear on the slide is common especially if holstering the gun often, but does anyone else find them selves bothered when the frame of a polymer framed gun gets damaged? I had this little dent/Nick that is on the frame of my g19 since I purchased (didn't noticed while I was in the store) and for some reason it drives me nuts! High Exposure 5,662 Posted April 16, 2017 No, it doesnt bother me. If it did, I would just get it stippled.

If you carry a gun for some time it will get nicks and scratches no matter how careful you are Nothing to worry about.

45Doll 5,874 Posted April 19, 2017 I love my Glocks, but having all Glocks is kinda boring IMHO no? When my wife started shooting she was definitely a Glock Girl. That 2x4 grip fit well with her large hands. And still does. Uh oh. Then she shot PPQs. And Sig SAOs. And then VP9s. The world is wide. And variety is the spice of life. But then, of course, there's only One Wife.

Walt of Destiny 412 Posted April 20, 2017 As much as I hate to recommend a Bloomberg employed anti-gun author, the book "Glock, America's Gun" is a great read. I learned so much about the genesis of the great and mighty Glock that I read the recent divorce proceedings of Herr Glock with great interest. All I can say from what I read about him is he's an evil genius.
Topshot56 29 Posted May 27, 2017 I am a "Glock Guy" through and through but they are not the only ones I own. I have 4 Glocks: 23, 27, 30 and 35. I carry one everyday for work, when I'm not at work I shoot my 35 for competition and that has been my go to gun for over 10 years now. I carry the 27 90% of the time away from and I just bought the 30. However there are so many great company's out there and most gun guys I know that are "Glock Guys" all have a 1911 and a few others in their collections. If i'm not wearing the 27 you will find a Springfield XDs .45acp tucked in my waist band.
Blacksmythe 71 Posted May 27, 2017 I like them too. But then I shot an M&P.

Just wondering how many people fall into that category. I read on some other forums that some people have decided to sell everything else and just keep an all Glock stash. The travesty. I do have 2 or three Glocks even though I don't really love them, but to limit yourself to just one brand? Blah.
vladtepes 1,060 Posted May 28, 2017 I only have 2 handguns.. both Glocks.. they do everything I need.. and they are pretty cheap..
weekend_junkie 129 Posted May 28, 2017 I just got my first Glock because I wanted a 10mm and heard the Glock 20 is the platform of choice. I still love my 92FS and PPQ, but I have to say... holy mother of hand cannons, this is a tier 1 machine.

Rob0115 1,105 Posted May 28, 2017 I love me some glocks, although I have one or two other firearms, 2x19, 20, 21 (long slide 9x25 Dillon), 34, 35, 40, 41. I just caught a 50GI upper off ARFCOM and need to order a G3 large frame. Lone wolf usually has them.

I have nothing against 40.. its one of the few rounds I reload.. but I have been sold on 9mm being a viable round.. so in an effort to standardize everything..
