Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 25, 2017 I had the bug for a 460 for a couple years now and finally found the 7.5" performance center version. It's a really heavy frame and I can't wait to shoot it. I'll do some 460 mags (probably only outdoors) and have the good fortune of 454 Casull and 45 LC for indoor time.

Vlad G 345 Posted April 25, 2017 Im amused by the sling mount, because crew served handguns are a thing.
Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 25, 2017 It comes with a sling because it's damn heavy!

Ray Ray 3,566 Posted April 27, 2017 I don't believe 480 Ruger is one of them but 454 and 45LC definitely I thought 480 Ruger was a step down 454?
Rob0115 1,105 Posted April 27, 2017 I thought 480 Ruger was a step down 454? It may but it isn't listed as one of the calibers that it fires.
T Bill 649 Posted April 27, 2017 480 Ruger and 475 Linebaugh use the same heads (.475) but different brass dimensions. The Smith uses .452 heads.

Rob0115 1,105 Posted May 20, 2017 I shot this today and the wickedness and sound has been a bit overstated vs what I've read regarding this pistol. I enjoyed it very much in both 45LC and 460 S&W. My 45 Colt hand loads shot like a .22 out this monster pistol.
