best places to find parts

Recommended Posts

I am wondering if anyone has any good places they know of to get parts for an ar build. I got an awesome deal on palmetto state armory on a geissele ssa and lower build kit for my lower but they don't really have any good deals as far as upper parts that I'm interested in. does anyone know any other sites that will have any good deals on upper parts? they don't necessarily have to come in combo deals but just some other places to look around would be nice.

The Troy MLOK or Alpha uppers for ~ $475 at Primary Arms are impossible to beat. If you parted it out, you are looking at over $1000 to buy each piece.

It has a Midlength gas system and the BCG, BUIS, and charging handle are included. All you have to do is swap the flash hider for a brake and get it permanently attached.

CBC Industries. My friend got one of their uppers for less then $400. When he took it to the range with me I was a little skeptical. Too good to be true I thought but I was wrong. Its very well built, no malfunctions, and he was shooting quarter sized groups at 50 yards from the get go. They will probably be having even better deals around Memorial Day if you can wait.

Got one of these Troy uppers as well. Grab the Medieval Brake from Primary when it's on sale. I've gotten mine for 29.99. Just gotta wait for the sales if you have time.

Other sites I've used to order parts from. I love Lanbos pricing but their website is not the easiest to navigate. Overall the best prices hands down w/o killing yourself scouring the net. Granite Ridge always has the sales on the Aero upper kits...

For sure that's the best deal out there. The bolt carrier isn't the one I'd buy, but otherwise it would cost you more than double in parts that I'd buy anyway. Actually I have built a couple of uppers with the same parts, except the carrier, and it was almost $1k. So it's a deal and there is one for $449 on sale that has the medieval comp you would just pin for the pleasure of overreaching no-nothings in this state "because safety". You know the drill.

And all made in USA

some Far East made uppers cost more, the cheapest ones are all made in China. Probably several reasons why you don't want that, unless it's a second spare for your buried SHTF kit.
