45Doll 5,842 Posted May 22, 2017 Here's a story about the creative use of the CheyTac M200 rifle. Apparently an ISIS sniper was causing a lot of trouble, so a SAS sergeant decided to calm him down. I've been an SAS fan ever since their breach of the Iranian embassy in London back in the 80's, and their deployment in Iraq in the 'Scud box'. I admit that personally I never heard of this rifle before this story. But then I'm not a long range shooter. Yet.
Shane45 807 Posted May 22, 2017 As much as I like the SAS, I have no faith that even 1 fact presented by that tabloid is accurate.
45Doll 5,842 Posted May 22, 2017 Well it may be B.S. There's a lot of articles out about it today, but most of them say 'reportedly' in their account and reference the Daily Star. So we are back to 'a source said'. I know there were similar stories within the last two years, but they are not identical and I never heard them confirmed or denied. And if it is B.S., at least I learned something about another rifle. Anybody ever see or shoot one of these?
