Purple is fine, as is pink and yellow.   It's like Jeeps, the color doesn't matter since the contents (or mods on the jeep) are more important.

I intentionally buy things with color, not black, when possible. Looking into a black bag filled with black things is a pain.

I have one of those little pistol cases for every semi auto I own (22's aside).  its great to keep the mags in there so you don't have to worry about unloading your HD round mags before you go to the range (assuming you have extra mags),  I dont have any 2 that are the same color, so there is no trying to figure out whats what.
