Recommended Posts

Anybody catch the VICE episode from last week on HBO? It's called "Future of Firearms"  (Season 5 Ep. 15). I thought it was a great little informative piece you can also watch on the HBO Go App if you don't have HBO. Anyways, below is a description of the episode. Check it out! :triniti:

http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/vice/episode-15-season-5/future-of-firearms-russia-wins-climate-change/766880/

"The firearms industry experienced unprecedented growth in the last decade. Fear of government regulation drove much of that growth as President Obama repeatedly tried to pass gun control laws in the aftermath of numerous mass shootings. Now, with the political landscape fundamentally changed, the industry, and gun rights advocates, are looking for new ways to expand upon their 2nd amendment rights and the bottom line - with some surprising results. VICE takes a closer look at the future of firearms in America."

      Hey guys,

My name is Frankie. I am new to firearms all around and I am excited to start my journey into the world of firearms. I am from Monmouth county and I am currently waiting on my FID and Permit so i can purchase my first handgun, the Glock 19. Here is my experience so far with the application process with the Middletown PD:

5/13- Filled out FID and Permit application

      5/21- Got fingerprints done

5/23- References received and sent back letter to my PD

5/24- Went into PD and followed up with copy of my finger prints receipt becauseI wasn't sure if I had to bring that back. The women at the desk told me I did not have to however she took my papers and made a copy for their records.

6/7- Called the records department in Middletown PD and kindly asked for an update on my application. The women was very nice and more than happy to check my status. She told me that they had recieved all my paper work a couple days ago and that they are processing them at the moment. I am hopeful that they will be done soon. A couple of my buddies have told me that my PD is fairly quick so my fingers are crossed!!

We are very proud to announce a new section to our online store: Clearance. But unlike the Clearance department in some stores ours isn’t filled with undesirables. With the likes of FNH, Kimber, Magnum Research, Colt, Wilson Combat and Kriss this is not a Clearance section to be easily dismissed! How deep are the discounts on these guns? ...Deep! Most just 5% over cost. You aren’t ever going to see prices like this around here - even when guns are on sale!

So how does it work? If you find a firearm in our Web Store Clearance section print out the page, bring it in, and you will receive the discounted price.

How do you get to the Clearance section? Head on over to our website, and navigate to our Firearms On Hand Inventory. Once there you can choose your section: Handguns, Revolvers, Rifles, and Shotguns. At the top of each section is our Clearance selection.

Have fun and thanks for your loyalty.

I live in Morris County I'm looking to buy my first hand gun my permits are in and i want something used but cheap under $250 but all i find is old junk! Ivy Johnson or 100 years old 22 revolvers looks like toy cap guns!
I don't see how old guns can cost close to the price of new gun they are not worth the metal!

I heard about a private gun dealer in the Dover Rt 46 area i heard he had good used guns at great prices but i can't seem to locate him i heard alot of cops buy off duty guns from this guy maybe someone knows who I'm talking about?
