I don't think 700 is that bad. I'm surprised its not more because its a colt. Putting in for permits this week. This colt will be on my long short list

That price is terrible, the MSRP is $699.  I would get a K6S for $100 more.

I put in for permits in the first quarter of the year for one of these. Got tired waiting for them to become available.

found a 3 inch S&W 686 deluxe for a great price, went with that instead.

I will likely go for the Colt again when and if it's available in 357.

Have you seen the Kimber K6? They are very nice, killer old school quality. I was in the same boat as you, waiting for it to become available. I gave up and bought another Glock, but some day...

The kimbers seem readily available now. At least on gunbroker. The cheapest I've seen the new cobra is msrp. Usually they want more
