vladtepes 1,060 Posted July 2, 2017 Picked up the gun.. and actually really like the feel of it.. have not shot it yet.. things like the ugly hand guard actually make sense when you hold the gun.. its really pretty comfortable... almost positive I am going to go through with the plan to get a stamp for it.. just have to shoot it to make sure.. contrary to everything I have ever complained about.. I am thinking about building an AK 9mm SBR off of this tiny AK pistol that I ran across.. Only considering this because the gun is SO small.. and just looks like fun.. thoughts? They go for under 400 on gun broker http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-pistols/chiappa-ak-9-pistol-detail.html?Itemid=

High Exposure 5,661 Posted July 2, 2017 That's actually pretty big. And ugly. And clunky. I say go Scorpion if you want something different in 9mm. They're making a lot of cool stuff for that gun.

High Exposure 5,661 Posted July 3, 2017 Build a 9mm AR pistol that shoots Glock mags and don't look back. Better ergos, mag compatibility, easy to source parts, Use a 7" barrel, Put a law tactical folder on it with a brace, and rock on.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted July 5, 2017 That thing is so ugly. If I went SBR, I'd go with a Yugo m92.

I have an AR that is an SBR.. and its fine.. LOL I like this because its dirt cheap.. and takes Glock mags.. and is very short.. not sure what makes it so ugly.. I think the giant rail sections just pasted on there are hideous.. but they can be removed..

SuRrEaLNJ 294 Posted July 5, 2017 found this (horribly fisheyed) pic sans those weird rails the only odd thing i see is that the ak mag release holds the new hand guard on, and the interchangeable magazine well has the new mag release on its left side its not ugly, its quirky, and i like quirky

I would be getting the Glock mag adapter..
