RedBowTies88 41 Posted August 10, 2017 Hey guys, long time no post. I did some searching but couldn't find anything about this product in relation to NJ, just CA's new laws. They're only about $6, and they basically lockout every hole in your buffer tube except for one of your choosing. Of course the stock could still be removed from the tube and replaced, but then again It takes <2 minutes to unscrew the entire tube and replace that too. im curious about your thoughts on the legality. I'm not holding my breath, but it is a great simple solution for the CA guys if nothing else. Heres a link to it https://www.strikeindustries.com/shop/index.php/strike-industries-ar-stock-stop.html and here's a video explaining it.
RedBowTies88 41 Posted August 10, 2017 P.s. I tried to post this in the current gun laws section, but with the mobile site it would only let me into the NICS sub section. Please move if appropriate.
Purple Patrick 638 Posted August 11, 2017 I would say if it requires tools or disassembly to adjust then it is not a collapsible or telescoping or however the law is worded.I am not a lawyer Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
tattooo 220 Posted August 11, 2017 I wonder if it is compliant in the eyes of NJ ?
Hairless_Ape 76 Posted August 17, 2017 There's no way that thing would pass muster. No tools required for removal.
PK90 3,570 Posted August 17, 2017 IMHO, it is legal per NJ law, as it does not allow the stock to be collapsed. Nothing in the law states permanency, nor tools. But, ..........
carl_g 568 Posted August 17, 2017 Looks good to me but I don't have to deal with that stupid law so....
tattooo 220 Posted August 17, 2017 I am thinking it is good to go as well. I mean states with laws like ours is why they made it right ?
