Where and which M&P 15/22

I want to get one for plinking at the range. Just started researching models and pricing. Would like to ask others what model I should be looking for that's acceptable in NJ. Apparently some are not NJ compliant which blows my mind being it's a .22.  Also a buddy might pick one up, does anyone do a deal if I get 2?

Model 10207 is the standard NJ compliant model and model 11507 is the NJ compliant model from their Performance Center line. MSRP $449 and $709. Where to get? Not a clue whose stocking.  FYI, TonyJ has one for sale on this board, look him up.

If it has an adjustable stock, it has to get pinned. If it has a muzzle devise, as the one you linked does, as well, it has to be replaced with a legal one (pic appears to include a flash hider) and pinned, as well, or, just destroy the threads/weld on a cover.
The model you're allowed directly out of the box is going to come with a fixed/pinned stock and probably no threaded barrel. Pretty sure mine came like that.

How about the HK 416-22? Looks like a solid choice with less polymer to it.
