Jfoster99 80 Posted August 29, 2017 Looking for straight up 15 round AR mags. Not 15/20's or 15/30's. A few years back somebody was selling cut down PMAG's I purchased 6 at the time and they all look and function perfect. The only ones i can find now are Thermold mags at sportsmansguide but im looking for a better quality. Pmag, hexmag, lancer, ect This is a pic of the cut down Pmag. Who was selling these? Screwball 483 Posted August 29, 2017 Are those the new curved 20s?
Jfoster99 80 Posted August 29, 2017 Are those the new curved 20s?No .. it is a an old 20rd pmag cut down to hold 15 rounds not blocked. So it looks more like a 10round but is slightly longer... perfect for bench shooting at the range..

MidwestPX 172 Posted August 29, 2017 We do make a 15rd mag but it uses three roll pins to affix the baseplate to the body. The host magazine is an M2 PMAG. We started building them as a result of requests from the NJGF community: Store link: http://midwestpx.com/magazines/limited-capacity-pmags/15-round/15-round-cut-down-midwest-px-gen2-moe-magpul-pmag-black.html What they look like in the gun:
Jfoster99 80 Posted August 30, 2017 [emoji3] I believe those were the Gen1sThats them.. were you selling them? Were they factory 15 rounds? Looks like the bottom flares out a little bit to hold the base plate on. So perhaps they were not cut. But those are my exact mags..
PK90 3,569 Posted August 30, 2017 Is there a deeper slit cut above the last rib? There were cut down 30s, which made a perfect 16 round mag. The rib was more pronounced on the 1st generations, which allowed the base to stay on. I had a new locking block made to make it 15 rounds. These were my version 2s. The Version 1s were a modified Bushmaster mag pre-2004.Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
