Zastava M70A Improved (custom build)

As anyone whos read my last few threads knows, i developed a soft spot for tokarevs. anyone whos shot a tokarev knows that the factory sights suck. I picked up a M70A with the intention of updating it a bit. Theres not much out there for these guns, so i had to get creative. After a lot of research, measurements, emails and a few interesting phone calls i came up with a plan, wich has taken me a few months to put together, but i wanted to share my results.

I dovetail cut the slide for a sti1911 front cut, and a cz75 rear. I was able to get heights that match what was needed with this combination, and the dovetails would actually work with the slide. Front is a Dawson Precision, rear is factory CZ

 

 

I also polished the feed ramp and some of the internals, debured some of the edges and tried to clean up and smooth out the gun.

Made it a point to get to the range tonight to see how it worked. The sights made a huge difference and im really happy with the way that it shoots now with the changes i made. I did miss one round with my circle, only circled 7 of the 8. The bigger hole by the rear sight was a .45 flier

 

Edit, ok ive tried both devices i have here with me, and both have decided the picture needs to be upsidedown. Its the right way in my atachments....
