It replaces the standard rear sight.

It was easy to install and has been rock solid. There is an integral BUIS blade type rear sight built into the mount that sits lower 1/3 in your FOV and will cowitness.

oooo

I've got a norinco Mak90 coming my way soon.  HE, would you happen to know if this will fit a Mak90?  These look real slick

It doesn't flop around, right?  I'd imagine there's some kind of locking mechanism to keep the base down?

I have a Midwest Industries mount on mine. I'm not sure theyre making it anymore.  I've seen some negative reviews on it but mine seems pretty sturdy to me.

@High Exposure, how does yours secure itself to the sight base?  It seems very similar to the MI design.

Yeah, the MI got bad reviews. When I asked around, someone pointed me towards the Attero as problem free. So far,  it has been.
4 Torxhead screws through the bottom of the mount into the optic.
I know how the optic mounts to the mount. [emoji13] How does the mount fit into the rear sight of the rifle and keep it secure?
