blksheep 466 Posted December 4, 2017 So over the course of 3 seperate days spread out over 6 weeks the match is over... Range 609 in Rio Grande is a great place to shoot with friendly staff. It was a well run match. Cant type how much they went out of their way to accomodate all participants The Indoor match was shot from 3 yards to 15 yards on a NRA D-1 target. My results were good. I took the stock Class with 2 500s and 89- Xs with a Glock 19. Took second in Pocket and Unlimited with some strong competition from one of the employees (a great guy and great shooter). Pocket, joined the 250 club 3 times with a Glock 42. Had to go to a shoot off for "X"s. Came up just a bit short. Unlimited is a modded Glock 17 and shot a 498 3 times. Shot it really well, just missed the 10 ring once each time. Overall anyone looking to get into competition shooting, the GSSF indoor matches are a great place to start. Random prizes were given out including a Glock 43, hats, shirts and knives. Range 609 bought lunch on the last shoot and it was a great time.
