MB24 37 Posted December 6, 2017 Cheaper than dirt has 30 rd aluminum mags on sale for $10 for .223/5.56. can they be shipped to jersey and pinned.
Junior 14 Posted December 6, 2017 They will probably only ship to a FFL. If you have a friend or P.O. box out of state you can ship them there and pin them before you bring them back to NJ.
MB24 37 Posted December 6, 2017 Can the ffl legally pin them

MB24 37 Posted December 6, 2017 thanks to both of you! Any idea of how much to have them pinned.
diamondd817 823 Posted December 7, 2017 Your not going to get around the NJ premium you have to pay. Just buy pinned/altered mags and go shoot.
MichaelDiggs 29 Posted December 7, 2017 All I buy are the Hexmag 15 rounds mags. They are cheap, strong as heck and work good. Never know when they won't be available, so I stock up on mags and ammunition. I'm grateful we are still allowed to purchase ammunition online. Just think of all the crap we'd have to do if not. There really isn't much difference and I like the bright color orange on the Hexmags. The P-Mags ( at least what I received ) were just dark gray. When they go on sale for really cheap, I'll buy like 5. By the way, gunmagwarehouse has them on sale for $8.99 each. That's the current Gen2 model. Really can't beat that price. 1LtCAP 4,259 Posted December 7, 2017 hexmag makes a 15round mag in a 30 round body, which can be disassembled for cleaning. cheap too. i've not had any problems as yet with hex mags.
Junior 14 Posted December 7, 2017 Besides gun mag warehouse where’s who has the best price on 15/30 round mags? I rather have the Pmags but I don’t mind the hexmags.

stuckinNJ 81 Posted December 8, 2017 Is there a point in getting 15 rounders now with the drop to 10 all but certain? And for those who’ll just keep their 15ers, at that pt you may as well have a 60 rd drum...

GunsnFreedom 245 Posted December 11, 2017 I ordered a few hex mags (although I have had feed issues on the last couple of rounds on one of them) because one, they are cheap, and two they can be changed to 10 - or 30 - round configurations.

Here is the first website that came up http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/products/hexmag-223-5-56mm-ar15-10-30-magblock.html Although at first glance it looks like a 30 rd spring (which is pretty easy to pick up) around the modular p mag mag block. Shocker 150 Posted December 11, 2017 The limited Hexmags (10/30 and 15/30) also use shorter springs - use a full spring with their riser and you can't fill it; use a limited spring without the riser and it won't feed. That's why they can't be readily converted back to full-capacity without needing to permanently affix the baseplate just throwing in that "mag block" is not permanent unless you epoxy the baseplate on or something IANAL
