Gomer Pyle Marathon

The Decades channel (#1165 on Comcast) has a Gomer Pyle Marathon on right now. The commercials suck but the episodes are pretty good!

I have the DVDs so I don't need the cable tv. 

I liked the show as well.  And, what truly tells me that the show and the character had merit was the fact that the US Marine Corps also liked both the show and character.  So much so, that "Gomer Pyle" received two honorary promotions by the Marine Corps... first to Lance Cpl, and later to Corporal.  And Jim Nabors honored that honor by showing up to both ceremonies and receiving both in person.
