charleslee 44 Posted January 21, 2018 Just paid for one @ Shooters. Double stack. $699. Not too bad of a price I feel. Century has at least improved a great deal on their wood. It looks really nice. Told a friend about it & he said probably laminated. I don’t know? I got another one several years back & the wood is horrendous. Never saw a sander. Not that it’s that big a deal, it’s a WASR after all, not to detract from them, just sayin’.
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted January 21, 2018 They work. They are the intro guns into the AK market. And they are better than the C39V2s.
bhunted 887 Posted January 21, 2018 Love mine. Fun to shoot. Hated the blonde wood so sanded and stained it red chestnut. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted January 22, 2018 Rented one at GFH, just to try it out. Nice gun to shoot, and good looking as well. Good luck with yours!
mossburger 406 Posted January 22, 2018 Wood is most likely laminate, can tell you for sure if I saw a picture. Nothing wrong with laminate, in fact laminate is stronger than many hardwoods due to the alternate grain pattern.
Alex V 99 Posted January 22, 2018 Good to know they have em. I am looking for a WASR10 for a "modernised ak" project. Would be ditching the wood anyway. Even with online pricing, by the time you factor in shipping, transfer and compliance work, this is a good deal.
S&W39 31 Posted January 22, 2018 Why is it better than a C39V2? The ones I've shot and seen are fine solid weapons.

charleslee 44 Posted January 26, 2018 Picked it up today. Fella at Shooters said they aren’t laminated, they just put something on the wood.
