That spur is completely unsafe. I would not like to be near anyone using that at a range....AWB is stupid, handling a firearm in an unsafe manner is even MORE stupid.

I disagree that the same tactics used during the civil rights demonstrations wouldn't work. They would work if the marches were as large. The trick is getting enough people to show up. It would take the help firearms owners in other states. Which is exactly what the civil rights marchers did.

For AR platforms, if it becomes necessary, there is a replacement bolt catch that converts to single shot, which should address the semi-auto restrictions, which do not apply to bolt action rifles.  Bolt is held open after every shot.  Better workaround than non pistol-grip stocks, fixed mag/breech loading etc.  $50 or so.
