GunsnFreedom 245 Posted February 8, 2018 In Northern (Morris Co) NJ, where is the best place to get compliance work done? I need a muzzle break pinned and welded. Every time I've contacted RTSP it's weeks to get it done. I know they send it out, so I'm not blaming them, just wondering if anywhere is quicker. But he is not right next door.

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk I bought a rifle from Luciano's in Lodi who uses G&S for his gunsmith work, top notch work. Cheyenne Firearms in Manville does great work too. I had him repin my stock for me recently.
Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted February 8, 2018 Mike @ Tier One Defense in Union will do it while you wait with an appointment, I believe. Not right around the corner, but not super crazy far.

Guest Posted February 9, 2018 Both shops I bought guns from used those shops. Luciano’s in Lodi uses G&S. Lou’s in Raritan uses Tier One. I’m impressed by both’s compliance work.
Hairless_Ape 76 Posted February 10, 2018 It doesn't need to be welded, unless your barrel is under 16". Get yourself a cheap drill press from harbor freight. Works out to $58 and change if you use one of their 20% off coupons. Do 2 rifles and it's paid for itself.
GunsnFreedom 245 Posted February 13, 2018 Went to Mike at Tier1, he's ~15 mins from work. Great guy, had it done - pinned - in less than 15 minutes.
