silverado427 10,555 Posted February 12, 2018 Anyone ever do any trigger work on their mossberg. I ran across this kit last night , I think I'm going to give it a try. Any opinions https://www.mcarbo.com/store/p/36-Mossberg-Shotguns-500-/-835-Trigger-Spring-Kit.aspx
Krdshrk 3,872 Posted February 12, 2018 Never found the trigger on a Mossberg 500 to be particularly terrible. You don't really need light triggers on shotguns - as long as they're not ridiculously heavy.. Also seems pretty pricey to me - $20 for 2 springs... Sota 1,191 Posted February 12, 2018 I've been accused of being trigger insensitive before, but I'm with Nick in that I don't see the 500/590 needing any trigger work.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted February 12, 2018 You're probably better off investing in a Dremel and smoothing/polishing some internals than buying that kit. Then you can use the Dremel for any other projects in the future. They are excellent tools.
