Opening a gun range

Don't think my Chief would lie, I'm also friends with a lot of the cops in said towns, because I go shooting with them often. Northern Somerset County is heavily armed.

NIMBY

Doesn't matter how pro-gun an area is. Shit I would hate if a Gun range opened up right behind me like that, property is surrounded by residents. In these places, I have neighbors that shoot on the weekends, i can hear the gun shots through the woods. Doesn't bother me as I know there is a natural back stop between me and anyone else. I would still be 100% against a fully operating outdoor range behind me.

Just look at cherry ridge, it's literally nestled in the middle of nowhere in a valley. The lake communities up there are lucky to be enough distance it isn't a problem, but you still hear guns going off all day everyday. It's a quality of life issue with sound more then anything.

Shit people complain about leaf blowers...

You could park an indoor range in the same spot and I would be 100% for it.
