BMWR12 35 Posted March 2, 2018 I usually never find anything good locally anymore. I was lucky enough to purchase this Colt 1911a1 about a month ago.The pistol slide number doesn’t match the frame number unfortunately. This pistol was part of an estate liquidation. I ended up getting the pistol for around $350 with taxes and fees.
1563621 388 Posted March 2, 2018 great Buy, nice finish!
JohnnyB 4,289 Posted March 2, 2018 Nice pistol at a great price! I would have grabbed it as well! S what that the numbers don't match. You have a piece of history that will be reliable and fun to shoot. Not much more to ask for! Good luck with it!

capt14k 2,051 Posted March 3, 2018 A lot cheaper than CMP will be asking. Also in better condition than what CMP pistols will be. Nice find. Do tell where this estate sale was and how you found it.Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

The 1911 was really the only good piece in the group.

capt14k 2,051 Posted March 3, 2018 I have a bunch of K98s, What exactly are you looking for?I'm looking to get rid of my all matching and original BNZ45 Kriegsmodell and instead picking up an early war all matching and original K98k. Any will do, but I lean towards Sauer and Styer. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
BMWR12 35 Posted March 3, 2018 I have a BNZ45 but the stock has a postwar number added. What are you asking for yours?
Kaiser7 33 Posted March 3, 2018 I have a bunch of K98s, What exactly are you looking for?A shooter. RC is fine, just good operationally, if there are markings that would be cool too.I've tried rebuilding two of them from barreled receivers I stumbled upon in trades, but I'd need a smith to get them operational (namely matching the bolts, and checking them over). Not that I'd shoot it a lot, but it would be nice to have it as part of my collection.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
