3/26 Trenton Rally - Sign/slogan ideas

Recommended Posts

I'm curious what is the expected turnout?

I am hoping high because I've always felt under 1,000 it is counter productive. Meaning the legislators say to themselves look no one does care. Over 100,000 they have no choice but to listen and take action. Anything in between could go either way.

Are we working with PAFOA and bussing people in from out of state. No one knows at a rally where people live, but they just assume they are voters.

I’m a fan of co-opting the left’s slogans: #meToo, just say no, etc.  Either that or Dr Seuss.

1A, 2A, 3A, 4.  Self Defense is at our core.  Or alternatively “inherent rights are at our core”.

My 2A protects your 1A

Ban Assault Bills

Cosmetic features are for makeup

9 of 10 criminals agree: gun control is job security  (or “makes them safer”)

This is it !!!!  Exactly.  100 percent.  That was their intent.  Perfect.  So many are so cozy and self indulgent.  Ask the japenese American camp detainies how they feel.

Is there any form of organized transportation to bring in pro 2A people. I would hate to see people get hung up and not be able to make it because of traffic and parking problems. Is the NRA involved or have they given up on NJ and would they rather invest their time where they feel the atmosphere of a state is more receptive to 2A rights? The reason I'm asking about the NRA is only because I haven't seen or heard about their involvement.

It's sponsored by ANJRPC and the NRA. There will be bus transportation from several sites. That thread is here:

Politicians are protected with guns

Celebrities are protected with guns

Banks are protected with guns

Do our children deserve less protection than Politicians, Celebrities and Banks?

I'll give up my guns after Phil Murphy's and Michael Bloomberg's security teams give up theirs.

    • Before you tell me not to move to NJ, I know, it sucks. lol  I actually lived in Jersey most of my life and moved over to PA 5 years ago, and now I plan on coming back.  I bought my first firearms when I was a NJ resident, so I am pretty familiar with the laws, however I do have a couple questions... I have acquired a nice collection while living in PA and obviously want to make sure I follow the law when I come back.  I have a few AR's that I built myself.  As long as I pin the stock and replace the flash hider with a pinned/welded muzzle brake, I am good, right? Also, regarding the "Other/Non-NFA firearms", would it be the same deal?  I have a couple AR pistol style firearms that I built.  The stripped receivers were bought as "other" on the ATF form at the FFL.  So, if I ensure the barrel is at least 12.5" and there's a vertical foregrip, would I be good?   I appreciate any assistance.
    • Sorry, both are SPF.  Being picked up this week. Win M22  22 LR SPF to Ringwoodfrank.
    • Yup I see. Looks like right now you can only purchase the 2023-2024 permit still. I assume won't be able to purchase 24-25 season permit until July.
    • Just a heads-up for anyone who might also be in this situation. I joined USLS mid-April of 2022. Some time after renewing for 2023, I changed email providers, and dutifully reflected my new address on my account page. So, I have been anticipating renewal alerts at my new address, but those never arrived. I logged in to my account the other day, and was surprised to see that my subscription expired that same day. I went to my account main information page, confimed that my email address was correct, then went to the billing page, which showed my previous two payments, but which did not give me any apparent way to pay up for the new year. I requested support using the Customer Service form on the web site, but received no reply. Today I called their support number. Apparently changing the email address from my view of my account page did nothing to change the address that they use internally for billing purposes, including expiration notifications. Maybe they also use that address for replies to the support form, even if a different email address is entered there. Also, my account was set up to auto-renew and charge my credit card without my intervention, but that setting did not show on my account page in any obvious way. So, if you have USLS and have changed your email address since you last renewed, you might want to give them a call to ensure that they send renewal information to your correct address. The prospect of having legal coverage lapse while carrying in NJ was, for me, a less that confidence inspiring experience. I will note that the telephone-based customer service was excellent.
