3/26 Trenton Rally - Sign/slogan ideas

Recommended Posts

Long slogans are cringey
Keep it short, keep it simple, and make it concise
Also, get a Megaphone from a place like Harbor Freight, they always make a big scene at rallies
Hand pump air horns are good too

While I agree with short and sweet I can't stand the word cringy. That is a generation Z word.

Got news for you, if you don't get Gen Z on board with gun ownership and gun rights, the only guns you'll own in 15 years will be hidden in PVC tubes underground in the woods.

Also, I don't know how many times I have to say it. If your slogan is freakin PARAGRAPHS of quotes in 18th century vernacular...ain't nobody gonna read that. Effective slogans can be read in 1-2-3 seconds by someone glancing over while driving by, or seeing a glimpse for a few frames on the nightly news or social media post.

Democrat’s nightmare - a gun owner that voted.

You’ll be in our sites next Election Day.

Voting and guns / rights important to both of us.

Our vote depends on your vote.

Gun owners vote too.

Take our guns and we’ll take your job

                    WE VOTE

Gun owners and voting - perfect together

Gun rights & voting rights I exercise both

That's my point.  Getting these pigs off their thrones is the only thing they'll understand.  They don't give a shit about taxes, school shootings, rights, budgets or anything else except getting a county park or parkway rest stop named after them. I don't care which party they're in.  They only care about themselves and their legacy.  As long as they get their special license plates and the streets they live on plowed first they don't care how they vote as long as it's a vote of the current mood of the people that will vote them in for another round of dinners and headlines in their honor.

30,000 gun related deaths per year, or 0.0009% of the population.

• 65% of those deaths are by suicide, which would never be prevented by gun laws.
• 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and justified.
• 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related or mentally ill persons – better known as gun violence.
• 3% are accidental discharge deaths.

So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000 annually, but drops to 5,100.

——————-

710,000 people die per year from heart disease.

200,000+ people die each year from preventable medical errors.

40,000+ die from a drug overdose

36,000 people die per year from the flu

34,000 people die per year in traffic fatalities

5,100 people die per year due to gun violence

—————-

Assault is a behavior, not a device.

Some of those yelling loudest for gun control enjoy the constant protection of security armed with...guns.

My rifle self-identifies as a family defense device.

Ban assault behavior!

I've posted this in all the threads regarding the rally. Not meant to hijack thread but to hopefully be helpful and maybe get some people you know to go who are on the fence and leary about driving into Trenton. Also not meant as any disrespect to those who organized the buses. Just pointing out an alternative.

Edit Farmingdale Bus is listed. However For those in the Western Monmouth, Southern Middlesex, and Eastern Mercer areas I think the best route is to drive to Princeton Junction hop on train to Trenton and then walk or take bus to rally location. $5 to park in Princeton Junction, $5 for train each way ($2.45 Seniors, Disabled, and Child), and $2.50 for bus each way. Total $20 for most of us.

Trains leave

#3815 7:22AM arrives 7:38AM

#3817 7:56AM arrives 8:12AM

#3921 8:26AM arrives 8:45AM

Last train is cutting it close. Walk is 20 minutes. Buses leave every 10 min and take 4-7min. Hope info helps.
