MedicYeti 96 Posted April 6, 2018 With new-more restrictive laws looming; has anyone tried altering a perminantly altered, currently compliant magazine? I see a few people selling off their 15 round mags which I’m considering myself. But instead of selling both my 15/20 mags is there a way to alter them further? If someone has done this I would appreciate any advise. If not, I’ll try and report any insights.

alarmwizz 11 Posted April 6, 2018 It depends how they were pinned if there epoxied shut then its not worth trying. If there not then you can get mag blocks for them its not that hard to do.It all depends on type of mag and how they were done.

Not directly you but you modified them for the stores I got them from. Before it's too late, is there any way for me to further block them to 10? If not, might as well remove the block and go full joy! I have plenty to practice on so I may be getting out my Dremil soon. Any advice truly appreciated Paul! PK90 3,569 Posted April 7, 2018 Aluminums: Bushmaster (screw in base) - Throw them away C-Products (cut down 30s) - Drill out rivets, cut body shorter, re-drill holes and reinstall rivets. Magpuls: Gen 1 (cut down 30s) - Slide base off, put in block, seal base on. Gen 2 (straight body) - Knock out roll pin and reinstall higher. Gen 3 (curved 20s)- Slide base off, put in block, seal base on.
GramGun79 226 Posted April 7, 2018 how about @MidwestPX mags..15/20 plate will not come off. I assume they are epoxied on. There is also a pin in the plate button.
