FS TEC Sterling Patio 3 burner NG stainless IR grill

12 posts in this topic

Listing my TEC Sterling Patio 3 burner Infrared grill. It's an all stainless beast with 3 IR burners. Its currently set up to run on a NG line from the house. Lighting is via a pilot light (with rotary ignitor)which you're supposed to leave on..but I shut it off after use. Grill is prob around 10 years old but the stainless parts look almost new. Grates are well used but still completely serviceable. New ones can be picked up from various sources of desired. Fully enclosed stainless cabinet underneath with a good amount of storage. All burners work...right 2 get hotter as seen in pic..left one i'm told needs a new gasket between burner and ceramic plate which causes some heat loss ($25 part). Unit can benefit from a good cleaning..that's about it

These suckers get surface of the sun hot..searing is a breeze with this unit.

Brand new these go for around $5k

Asking $500 ..must be able to pick up yourself. (Marlboro Twp ,Monmouth Cty) cant guarantee help will be avail to lift..ask away any questions..Get in on a premium grill at 1/4 the price..Thanks for looking! Email jrfly3006@aol.com

P.S the Weber Genesis pictured will be posted as soon as the TEC is gone52dedecd290217e7e72e00be883fa36f.jpga869de4963fc48cfaa849661d8315d28.jpg0bb12e6752c91400d9a639669c4e4379.jpg27e122112af4d1230b8c9dab303e6ef4.jpgf68b7aae4d873125b8716c100161f44d.jpg521ac5bc40e1fab5c04443c678309ce1.jpg25a37710ca57de337352624e2808a835.jpg5fcc8c306025f8a3b0272a4d148b6182.jpg

These grills are amazing, worth considering.  I have the Original TEC Patio model which we have had for about 25 years.  These things will char the outside of a steak and leave it raw on the inside if you want.  I know the manual on mine says to not close the top when it is on high as it will actually get hot enough to melt the stainless steel.

Is it natural gas only or can it use propane?  I don't have a NG hookup outside...
Potentially interested in the Weber as well
Nick..its set up for NG now but LP conversion parts are available....That being said if someone wants a package deal with both grills I will give ya a VERY good price..Need both gone ASAP...thanks
