I’ve always been a fan of Butler Creek lens caps. But it always seems an adventure to find the correct size you need and when you do, they are not in stock.

 

In the hunt for caps for the Steiner, I ran across some lens caps from a company called Monstrum Tactical.

I figure, lets give them a shot. Seem sturdy. Slightly cheaper and less models with good universal sizing.

They are similar to the way BC makes their multi-flex.

 

Got to say, I like them. Great fit, caps stay closed and are sealed, flexible enough where they can take some rough housing and not fall off.

 

Very happy with them so far.... give them a try...

I see no reason for them, except to protect the rim of the bell.  I would cut off the cap and just use the rubber.

Then use condoms. Come in different colors and sizes, very flexible and can even get flavored and glow in the dark! Lmao! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Same here, butler creek on almost all my glass. These look like they're worth trying!
