Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum and new to this type of site in general! I like to participate in social shooting events, so there may be a chance we've met. I'm pretty "out of the closet" as far as my love of shooting and firearms goes. I got a pretty late start to my introduction to firearms, as I've only been shooting for the past 8 years or so but I've been diligently trying to make up for lost time. I became a certified instructor so I can introduce family and friends to the shooting sports in a safe and knowledgeable way. I try to be a good "ambassador" of the second amendment and exemplify a warm and welcoming face! I hope to be able to contribute whatever insight I have to this forum.

Oh, and I like shotguns. A lot. :)

It was nice to meet you yesterday... and glad to see you joining NJGF! [emoji3]
Pleasure was all mine!

I'm not sure what your schedule is like or where you're located, but I'd be more than happy to work with you on shotgun mechanics! I like to take trips out to Lehigh, and you're more than welcome to come any time!

It was a pleasure meeting you and you definitely have some impressive shooting skills
Definitely nice to meet some new faces yesterday! Thank you for the compliment, I'm ok with a scattergun, but I can barely hit the paper 25 yds out with a rifle! 🤣🤣

Welcome aboard.

My good friend shoots at Thunder Mountain and is always looking for other females to shoot with.  Let me know if you would like me to put you in touch with her and how you'd like to go about it.

A young female shotgun instructor? I'm impressed and happy to see it. Welcome. I'm sure you can teach most of these guys how to hit something at the next shootout [emoji23]

If you want me to connect you, shoot me a PM with how you are comfortable doing that.  She's awesome.  Actually a client that I'm somewhat friendly with.  I'll be seeing her Tuesday when she comes in for color with a colleague.

Welcome to the forum.  Was a pleasure to meet you Saturday.  Thank you for throwing all those crossing birds (that I mostly missed).
I wasn't hitting as many of them either! They definitely added a challenging dimension to the experience. I just joined the forum to make sure I get invited to future parties! [emoji23][emoji23]

You hit a lot more than I did, for sure.  Was still fun, even with all my misses, and was certainly more of a challenge.  I'm looking forward to the next meet already...I've missed a bunch and these are always a blast.

I've spent more time than I want to admit looking at over/unders (which then morphed to looking at Anschutz rifles) today.

You know it! It's always a great time when we get the squad together! We could even stop at Prime for lunch... I joined, so now I have even more of an excuse to go out there.

I heard you were looking for me today, you always stop by when I'm not there!

See you soon!

      Hello everyone.

I've had my FID card for a couple of years, but didn't apply for a handgun permit until this spring. It took a few months (accept or reject within 30 days "is more what you'd call 'guidelines' than actual rules, welcome aboard"  ), but I now have one in hand and plan to make a purchase before the month is up (hopefully my choice will be back in stock soon). I found NJGF while researching a variety of related topics and it's already been a great help, like cluing me into a sale I was unaware of, so I decided to register.

Hello everybody, I live at the border of ocean and monmouth counties. I just got a Gen 2 kel tec sub 2000, and I don't know anyone that owns a gun. I'm also probably going to jump right into reloading. I hope to learn a lot about firearms and shooting them from the members of this forum. Please be patient with a newbie !

Greetings to all of you members on this forum. I have not read all of the rules about posting in relation to a GS and or sponsor/contributor but I will find that out as soon as I can. In the meantime I just wanted to say I joined because quite a few of you have mentioned this forum. I look forward to being a member and ask that you bear with me while I feel my way around this site.
      Thanking you in advance,

Hello all, I recently stumbled across the forums through another member and also in an email by the nj2as... I have been lurking around for about a month or so and decided to register an account and see what I can contribute.

I'm a resident of Cape May County (Sea Isle specifically) and am working on a masters at Rutgers in the great shitty of Camden. I'm not new to firearms, and have been an avid hunter (waterfowl) and saltwater angler for almost 30 years now.

As is custom to another forum I frequent (a salt water fishing site), I'll start put with a joke....

A Professor was giving a lecture on "Involuntary Muscular Contractions" to his first year medical students. Realizing that this was not the most riveting subject, the Professor decided to lighten the mood slightly.

He pointed to a young woman in the front row and said,

"Do you know what your a$$ hole is doing while you're having an orgasm?"

      She replied, "Probably out fishing!"
The professor laughed so hard he could not continue with the class.

      Hello All,

Just joined the forum after peeking in on it from time to time. Looking forward to interacting with like minded individuals on here. Coming from a Gun Friendly State (Nevada) and moving back to NJ (originally from Clifton), i work in NYC and live around a lot of Anti 2nd Amendment people in Hasbrouck Heights, it gets fustrating to say the least. Looking forward to absorbing some wisdom and having spirted conversations with you guys.
