Waffles vs Pancakes

Lumberjacks don't eat waffles

You only need a frying pan

It's a cake

No grids, FREE thinkers cut where they want.

You can make them any size you want, freedom.

Can be made savory with any combination of nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cinnamon, cayenne, etc..

Additional ingredients can be baked into the pancake, don't roll off.

You can make 12 at a time

Waffles may be served at a continental breakfast, but the men of the Continental Congress ate pancakes.

Can be made in any home because every home has a frying pan.

Soaks up more butter and maple syrup than a waffle.

Stays hot longer.

Chocolate chip pancakes.

Batter never spills over a frying pan or griddle.

You can make heart shaped pancakes for your spouse on valentine's day or other special occasion.

Frying pan?  Why have a Generic tool to do something a specialized one can do better?

Stays hot longer, sure, but sits like a brick in your stomach.... While waffles are still awesome even if they're not piping hot.

That "sandwich" looks good in pictures but picking it up?  Those flimsy pancakes would fall right apart and the artsy-fartsy picture would be right in your lap.

Never did I say that pancakes can't be paired with eggs and bacon. I stated that not only can waffles be paired with them, waffles can be paired with other foods to make not only delicious breakfasts but also delicious lunches, diners, and deserts. Unlike pancakes (the inferior food)

I can't believe this is even up for vote. Including what GFL just said, waffles actually hold your butter and syrup, unlike pancakes where it just slides right off and the bottom one gets super soggy.
