Almost 1/2 a million dollars and the roads are still falling apart.

But out of this I bill I take two things at least.  No where does it include the correlation between gun control laws and gun violence.  And reading para 2 it appears to be focusing on mental health issues among gun owners.  A noble area to research no doubt but, I can't help feeling that the focus with this and other recently passed bills, "they" are increasingly trying to prove that gun ownership is a result of a mental illness, condition or syndrome.  Paranoid? Of course. Who among us at this point isn't.  But picture this: an out come like my paranoid prediction can produce could lead to not only limiting ownership of gun types but limits on quantities of guns one may possess.  Maybe more.       Thoughts? (other than on my paranoia)

I'd say the findings they will discover have already been planned as a foregone conclusion, and they will be seeking out the data necessary to support their agenda.

More strategically,  since we know N.J. doesn’t need any studies to justify its laws, this effort will be used nationally. It will be used to guilt other states or Congress to “do something”.
