1st Annual NJGF Shoot @ RTSP - October 21st

Recommended Posts

I have about 1500 rounds of various calibers loaded up in my bag so I can mooch off all you guys ;)

My buddy is bringing his Model 29 and some old .25 Beretta, maybe his AR. He will be there a little later

Looks like it'll be myself and my buddy Chaz who's usually at shotgun shootouts. You know, the guy that looks straight out of a Montana fishing guide magazine.

Still unsure of what will be brought between us but I'll add some good variety into the previously posted list.

This should blind some RO's haha.

@diamondd817 you better show! And you’ll take this cacophony and like it!

I'm in bra. I decided I will be bringing in addition to the 686+, the Glock 34 Gen 4, since I don't see that listed.

What about targets? We bringing are own or buying from RTSP?

Assholes are like excuses, everyone has one.......

Wait...  that's not right...

Excuses are like elbows, everyone has them....

Whatever....  I'm not even going to the event, but at least I set the bar low and didn't drop out at the last minute.

Learned 10 things tonight.

1.  I am not the tallest guy around, thanks @GramGun79

2.  @Purple Patrick refuses to put a matching outfit together

3.  @GRIZis even cooler in person than he is on this forum

4.  @cabalrayz has dope guns.

5.  Nagant revolers suck, but the 41 Magnum is cool.  Thanks Igor

6.  @diamondd817 has probably the dopest name around

7.  @67gtonut doesn't have a Sig, but wears a Sig hat AND doesn't have a 1967 GTO.

8.  @Mrs.Zeke is cool, her husband?  Not so much

9.  A 5000 1911 shoots like a 5000 dollar 1911, thanks @AVB-AMG

10.  @Krdshrk has horrible taste in guns and cars, except his M9A3.

11.  RTSP is a great range.

Excellent time!

Nice meeting everyone, good people, good food, lots of bad ass guns. The “guns to have list just” keeps getting longer :good:

Thank you to every one that helped make this event possible. Looking forward to the next one.

Hey, maybe we could get NJGF T shirts for next time

    • In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.
    • 27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.
    • I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
