drwatson333 0 Posted July 15, 2018 Under the new 10 round magazine law, would a shotgun like the UTAS UTS-15 be legal without modification? It's pump action (not semi-auto) and has two 7 round tube magazines with a 3 way selector switch that can go left tube, right tube, both tubes. The new law seems to relate specifically to a single magazine that holds 10 rounds, however you can feed from both magazines continuously making the effective magazine size 14 +1 in the bottom chamber. Golf battery 1,223 Posted July 15, 2018 Pump action lever action. No limit. Right?
Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted July 15, 2018 Pretty sure the new mag limits only apply to semiauto firearms. The limit for SA shotguns remains 6 + 1, if I'm not mistaken.
DirtyDigz 1,811 Posted July 16, 2018 If it’s not semi-auto then there is no magazine limit. You can have a 100 round magazine on a pump, lever action, or bolt action, as long as that magazine can’t also work in a semi-auto.
drwatson333 0 Posted July 16, 2018 Thanks for the responses! This new law has me questioning everything.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted July 16, 2018 Nothing's changed regarding shotguns. Anything goes (as long as federally legal) for pump action shotguns. Kel-Tec KSG, UTAS UTS-15, DP-12, etc. are all legal 100%
Greenday 323 Posted July 16, 2018 Now that this thread's question has been answered, we must hide all of it before a politician realizes they've left out more senseless things to regulate.

weekend_junkie 129 Posted July 30, 2018 The UTAS does not meet the "reliably feed" standard, so no issue! Haha!
