Brushed Finish Touch Up

Anyone have a suggestion on who could do a brushed  finish touch up on a stainless steel receiver , Marlin Lever Action?

300 grit emery paper or Scotch Brite pads.. Not the ones for sinks. The purple ones.

If I had the time and space, and skill I might attempt It!  (and guts) :-)

Right now I am looking for a smith or re finisher who can do it.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay.  It took a lot of positioning wit h a bright light to show up the marks.

It really doesn’t look too bad. You should be able to touch them up with a little patience.
The hardest part, (unless you can take the receiver apart), is getting around the obstacles that protrude on the receiver.
The finish looks more satin to me than brushed. I really don’t see any brush lines.

In any event, you can try using a scotch brite pad in a small area where the scratches are.
Just use the pad in the direction of the brush strokes over a scratched area. Those scratches don’t look that deep. You really can’t mess up stainless beyond repair with those minor scratches.

^^^this. Unless its "stainless" steel. Real stainless steel is pretty hard to mess up lol.
